Some days you will feel better than others. Some days will be more productive than others. But as Scarlett O’Hara said in Gone with the Wind, “Tomorrow is another day.” Start each day with fresh confidence and strength of heart.

I want to share with you some other ideas you can use to help keep a positive mindset in the midst of your Corporate Business ups and downs.
The first is to embrace the six confidence-building strategies suggested by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Les Hewitt in The Power of Focus:
1. Every day, remind yourself that you did something well.
2. Read inspiring biographies and autobiographies.
3. Be thankful.
4. Build excellent support around you.
5. Push yourself to accomplish short-term goals.
6. Do something for yourself every week.
The road to confidence is paved with weekly victories. Learn to applaud them.

The key to maintaining a positive mindset during your New Business Campaign is being prepared to keep getting back on your horse. Sit straight in your saddle with confidence.
Acknowledge your stress.
Acknowledge your different emotions at different times.
Define your fears.
Define what you are grateful for.
Admit when you are overwhelmed and address the situation.
Maintain your confidence, happiness, and strength of heart at all possible times.
Rely on your loved ones and your support system of friends.
Rely on a higher authority to help you through the rough spots.
Never give up on the belief in yourself and that you will succeed in landing that next great corporate business account.
Remember to:
1. Put things in perspective. Look beyond the present.
2. Make sure you are reaching out for support.
3. Remind yourself that this is only a small portion of your life’s big picture.
4. Continue to look for a job. Set goals and keep working at it.
I believe in you. I know you will find your next BIG piece of corporate business. Stay in the game. You will need determination, patience, and a committed drive to keep pressing forward toward your goal.
